Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about ESAFlorida, pricing, review, and what to expect.

  • What is ESAFlorida?
ESAFlorida is an online platform for Florida residents who need a clinician-reviewed path toward housing-related emotional support animal (ESA) documentation. A Florida-licensed physician reviews your intake; we focus on landlord and Fair Housing Act–related requests—not travel, airlines, or public access.
  • Who can use this service?
Adults 18+ who live in Florida, are seeking housing accommodation support, and can complete our questionnaire and intake honestly. We do not serve minors through this site.
  • Is this for flying or taking my animal in public?
No. Our scope is Florida housing documentation. We do not provide airline, TSA, or “public access” letters, service-animal certification, or legal advice.
  • How much does it cost?
You choose a review speed at checkout: standard (typically within about three business days) or priority (typically within about 24 hours). Pricing is shown on the home page and at checkout before you pay with Stripe.
  • What happens after I pay?
Your case enters the physician review queue. You’ll get email updates when your status changes. You can always track progress on your dashboard after signing in.
  • Does paying guarantee a letter?
No. Payment covers physician review of your intake. The reviewing clinician makes an independent decision and may request more information, a short telehealth visit, or may determine that a letter isn’t appropriate. See our Terms for refund eligibility when a letter isn’t issued.
  • What is a telehealth visit, and how long is it?
Sometimes your clinician needs a quick video visit to complete review. When that happens, it’s usually a brief call—about 10 minutes—to align on your housing request. You’ll see scheduling options in your email and on your dashboard when required.
  • How do I get my letter if I’m approved?
When your case is approved and your letter is ready, you’ll receive an email with a download link (you may need to sign in). You can also download the PDF from your dashboard.
  • What if my landlord asks for more information?
Housing providers make their own decisions within the law. If your clinician asks you for more detail, you’ll see a message on your dashboard and can reply there—sometimes with an optional file upload.
  • How do sign-in and security work?
Patients sign in with email magic links (no password by default). Physicians use a separate admin sign-in. We use industry-standard hosting, encryption in transit, and limited retention described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Where can I read policies and contact support?
See Privacy, Terms, and Contact in the footer.
